Relevant Youth is a creative agency here in Columbia run mostly by Mizzou students during the school year. RY helps strategize for businesses throughout Columbia and I was on their internal team for my first year and was head designer for their magazine that was passed out along campus . The magazine’s theme was “Express” and this was a project that really pushed me because it’s really different than my typical style and I loved that. I created these four different covers where I got to create this interesting typography, mess around with photos, and colors and really just get to try things I’ve never done before. I also created the copy pages, pull quote page, and credit page at the end to create this cohesive look throughout.

I created this original design for the first annual downtown Columbia, MO Projection Showcase. My winning submission, created under the theme of "unity," was projected the weekend of April 8, 2021. Through these separated boxes, unusually paired colors, and chopped up letters that are all very different created this vision that unity is so many things. We as people are so many things and we’re all different, but when we come together we create this really cool, really unique concept and experience.
